In this girl-meets-bug sci-fi-rock-musical-comedy, Carly, an exterminator, is hell-bent on avenging her mother’s bedbug related death In an effort to permanently rid the city of its infestation, she accidentally mutates the pests into blood-sucking, heavy metal rock gods. Bedbugs!!! is an original musical that the NY Times called, “…a little bit “Little Shop of Horrors” and a little bit “Rocky Horror Show,” but even more over the top.” This “*improbably entertaining” and “**wonderfully outrageous and inventive” musical is a blitz of 80’s nostalgia and a creepy-crawly love affair of massive proportions.

Don’t Let the Bedbugs Bite!  Chris Hall
Who is the Bug Lady  Chris Hall
I Love to Love to Love You Brian Charles Rooney

Behold our New York Times review & Critics’ Picks, Sept 14, 2014

 reviews from our previous infestations
“The sci-fi pop rock musical is alive and kicking in Bedbugs!!!, a glitzy, pumped up new production in the New York Musical Theatre Festival…”
~ nytheater.com

“Sure to develop a cult following…”
~ EDGE Fire Island

“Thanks to a goofy and committed cast, a thumping pop-rock score, and a production which revels in its low-budget glory, Bedbugs!!! is a zany success.”
~ CurtainUp.com

“…an outrageously entertaining and inventive new kind of musical – where magnificent voices abound and that has audiences cheering.”
~ Oscar E Moore for Talk Entertainment

“With Sauter’s burrowing and boisterous book and lyrics, Leschen’s invidiously astute 80s take-off tunes, and such strong performers on hand, Bedbugs!!! already has almost all the bite it needs.”
~ Matthew Murray for Talkin’ Broadway

“Composer Paul Leschen and book writer/lyricist Fred Sauter capitalized brilliantly on the city’s latest pox in Bedbugs!!!. Those who have had or thought they had bedbugs can especially appreciate the references (the nightmares! the shame!), but everyone can appreciate the solid camped out storyline, the synth-heavy 80′s music and stellar cast.”
~ Halley Bondy, News Reporter for Backstage

“Chris Hall struts, clucks and snarls as Cimex, in a classic homage to glam rock excess.”
~ nytheatre.com

“Chris Hall — as a preening, strutting six-foot bedbug you’re likely to remember — is a delicious combination of David Lee Roth and Tim Curry.”
~ Adam Perlman for Theatermania.com

“…Brian Charles Rooney is simply sensational in a thinly veiled take on Celine Dion.”
~ theatremania

“Brian Charles Rooney is fearless and absolutely fantastic in this role of a Diva… His vocal range is incredible and he has just the right satirical edge to his delivery.”
~ Oscar E Moore of Talk Entertainment.com

“…a little bit Little Shop of Horrors and a little bit Rocky Horror Show, but even more over the top.”
~ New York Times
